Am I A Fairy's Friend?

by Laura
(Kingston)

Am I a fairy's friend or am I liked by some kind of fairy? Please reply. Thank you.

Ophelia Fey says -- Laura, thank you for saying thank you. (Many humans do not, you know). And that is a good way to become a fairy's friend. Everyone appreciates gratitude and being thanked. Many people write to me and ask if they can be friends with fairies, or if fairies like them. I am going to answer yours. I do not answer them all because there are so many who ask the same thing. But others can read what I say here and understand.

You are indeed a fairy's friend. In fact, I happen to know that several have been watching you. And they do like you. They would like you to practice seeing them, to see if you can do it. This does take persistence. You can find out how here: How To See Fairies.

Your fairy friends would also like you to help them take care of the nature areas near your home. You can choose whether to help with garden areas by you, or to go off somewhere else, even to flowers growing by the wayside, and help keep it tidy and free from litter and pollution. Anything you can do to take care of your environment and ours, will be greatly appreciated. And you can always talk to them. They will always, always listen, and will help you as much as they can get through to you.

And perhaps you can make a fun little place for them to visit. In your home or outside. We are not picky. But (as a hint) we do enjoy anything sparkly.

fairies friends

I've believed in fairies since I was 4. I'm having trouble finding a friend. It's really hard to fit in at school. Am I a fairy's friend?

[Ophelia Fey says] -- Hello Mahalia. I love your name. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble fitting in at school and finding friends. If it is any comfort to you, I have received literally hundreds of notes from readers who experience the exact same thing.

You are indeed a fairy's friend. All you need to do is sit quietly and send love to them, invite them to you, and try to feel their presence. Nature beings are everywhere, and they will respond.

Here is something you might try -- Instead of fretting about not having friends and not fitting in (all of which are negative thoughts), try instead to focus ONLY on having friends and fitting in. Even if it does not seem real right now. You see, your subconscious mind does not dwell in Time and Space and does not know the difference between what you think is real and happening right now, and what you want right now. Your deeper mind dwells only in the Now. This is actually a fact of science.

Whenever you are tempted to be upset about these things, immediately switch your mind to think something positive -- about what you really WANT and how you want it to be. And really try to See it in your mind. Do this every day! It's not just a one-time thing to do. See how you would like yourself to act and to be treated with your friends that you want. Really get into it. People who do this begin to feel differently, and so then they act differently. Which causes others to act differently towards them.

Also, instead of focusing a great deal on yourself, try to step outside of yourself and see what you can do for others. I highly suspect that there are others in your school that feel the same way as you do, and need a friend. If you ask your Guides, angels, God, whoever it is that you like to talk to, to guide you to those who you can help and befriend, you eventually just may be shown what to do and how. These kinds of little practices can work wonders in your life.
