Did I See A Fairy?

One time when I was taking our dog outside I was just walking around a bit and near one of the trees in the backyard. I saw a purple light fly by it and then disappear. The other time is when I saw like one or two pale yellow lights. I want to know if I saw fairies. Please answer me and I hope I did!

Ophelia Fey says -- Julie, it may very well be that you did indeed see fairies. Outside in your yard or garden is a typical place. What you described is very much how we can look to mortals.

It is quite common to first see us as lights because our forms can be hard for you to see until you get your eyes trained to do so. And we do move fast. As I've mentioned before, these things often happen unexpectedly when you are not expecting it, rather than trying and trying.

Chances are there are places in your back yard that fairies come back to again and again. If you saw them there before, it is likely you will again!
