Faerie Charms
Ophelia-
Is it true that some people make charms to attract faeries to their garden? I'm making one. It's constructed of a sparkly bracelet two beads (that look like faeries) some other beads, charms, and a bell. Do you think that I am making the charm correctly? Is there any pattern I'm supposed to follow?
Ophelia Fey says -- Your charm sound just charming. Faeries do love charms and anything sparkly is always delightful. And a bell is perfect, if it is not too loud and has a pleasant tinkling sound. (Faeries do not like loud bells). They will especially be thrilled to see beads that look like faeries.
We find it very flattering when mortals try to make things of what they think look like us. And there is no set pattern or system to making a charm. They will just be happy you are even thinking of them and making one.
I would just love to see it when you're done. Could you possibly take a picture and submit it?
In fact, as lovely as charms are, what is really most important is the feeling of your garden. If it feels like there is love and care in it, that is what good faeries will be attracted to. Charms would be just a little something extra. And oh -- just a tiny hint -- we do love those faerie statues as well, no matter how large or small.
