Fairy Bathrooms?

Do fairies use the restroom? Because I'm making a fairy house in my garden. I'm wondering do I have to build a restroom? Thanks.

Ophelia Fey says -- Violet, how very considerate of you to think of such detailed things for the fairies. We do not need a restroom though. You many have read on some of the other pages that we do not have the same kind of bodies as you do, so not the same kind of body processes. Food does not go through us in the same way. The best way to describe it, is that it sort of vaporizes after it goes into our bodies. We enjoy the taste of food, and really only need to eat it for fun.

The fairies in your garden will be quite delighted that you are making them a house. They will come and visit it. You may leave them a few little crumbs of food too. When your fairy house is finished, I would love it if you would be able to send a picture. You can do another Ask A Fairy question or sentence, and it will tell you where to put in a photo. It's very easy. I will be making a brand new section on fairy gardens (and houses) too. Soon, I hope.
