Fairy Gifts

Do Fairies like to get gifts from humans? If they do, what would they like?
Ophelia Fey says -- Food. Especially small bits of chocolate. And very small sparkly things. If you spread several tiny beads or glitter on a table, we may take one.
Otherwise, we just like gifts that we can come back and visit. And know they were set up just for us. We'd love a little corner made somewhere cozy where we could come to relax. It could have a plant nearby and a cushy little cushion to sit upon. And something sparkly to look at. We wouldn't take it. I couldn't swear to that though, some just might.
Most fairies tend to sort of take their own little gifts. Things they see in your home or yard that they fancy. They mean to bring them back, of course, as I've explained before. But they do get confused or forget.
And you wouldn't believe the kinds of things humans drop in the grass. Jewelry and shiny coins. Wondrous keys and key chains that are ever so intriguing. All sorts of small baubles. A fairy would then assume it was left just for them, not dreaming it was a lost item. Although I've told them so, and to always put it on the porch or window sill or such, to make sure it can be found. But alas, they do not believe me.
