Fairy Romance

Is there fairy romance, and what is it like?
Ophelia Fey says - Oh yes, there is much fairy romance. But it is not, perhaps, altogether like that in the world of mortals. It is not so much a matter of ultimately joining forms (and of course our forms are quite different), but is far more profound.
Romance involves the meeting of the essence of two beings who resonate together. And whose energies then combine to create a wonderful and new harmony. And stronger power. Thus many of the "kingdoms" within our realm tend to be led by couples. But not all, for some nature spirits do embody strong harmonics and powers within their own, one being.
All romance in the realm of Faerie also creates with it, sound, color, and even lovely scent. And in actuality, so does much of the romance in the mortal world - and some do see and sense these things.
Plus the energies of true romance are so strong they also may create great bursts of growth in nature. A nature spirit couple takes great delight in seeing just what new things their combination of energies are able to create. And some of it is quite unique, as it could only come about from their particular combination.
If you find that a garden suddenly seems to be doing extremely well for no particular reason, or is growing unusually large flora, this may be a hint that romance is in the air. And I literally mean In The Air. For the scent and harmonies carry across the wavelengths, and through the breezes.
Such fairy romance involves deep feeling, for fae folk are beings of feeling. Very seldom does someone bond with another that he or she is not in harmony with, for such attunement is exactly what fae folk are able to perceive. Unless, of course, somebody is having a very "off" day. Or perhaps I should say even decade. Not that we follow time in the same manner. Then an "error" may be made, if just temporarily.
Some partners perceive each other from birth, for they spring up together from the same element at the same time, and for similar Purpose. Yet others are drawn to each other after Awhile of preparation. And then, too, these things involve various clans and tribes, as you would call them, as well as element characteristics. And so all manner of rituals have developed through the ages, to celebrate pairings and bondings. The goal of such is always Purpose. For that is the basis of all true fairy romance.
