Fairy Tears

by Catherine
(loudon, tennessee)

Do fairies cry because of humans? If they do, what should I do if I see a fairy crying? Thank you:)

Ophelia Fey says -- Fairies do sometimes cry because of humans and the way they treat each other and nature. It is so unnecessary. That despite certain advancements in the outer world such as your technology, many of you have abandoned your inner world and power. And have become further removed from what is real and what is truly important. We weep sometimes for all the waste, for pollution. For cruelty. For prejudices. Yet we know that many of you are trying hard and are getting more understanding.

These troubles can affect our world too, and make it more difficult to care for nature. So at times we are forced to withdraw, when our burdens become so burdensome. And in the absence of our care, cataclysm can occur.

We know that mortals can do better. And in eras gone by, even though in some ways humankind was more backward, in other ways they were more In Touch. We miss that and so it makes us sad.

Chances are you will not find us if we cry. We weep apart. But if you do, it is because we have chosen a place near you in which to cry -- which means we trust. Our tears, in fact, will bless the earth there. Do not interrupt us though. We prefer to be left alone.

Fae tears
by: Alison

So perhaps I have found two things by doing one, Ophelia. Calming a distressed Fae and making myself endearing to the Fae folk at the same time. Would singing also calm a distressed fae? Everyone has their own way of calming themselves when distressed. I know it does when upset after an argument with a friend.

[Ophelia Fey says] - Fae do love singing, and if the song is soothing and calming, then that is exactly what will happen. I think it is an excellent way to settle oneself down.

About Faerie Tears
by: Alison

Ophelia, what would a faerie do if he or she were crying, then sensed the peaceful energy of someone who was hugging a tree? And that person was sharing the peace that the tree feels. I sometimes hug a tree just because I feel like it. Is that another way to attract faeries?

[Ophelia Fey says] - Hugging a tree and sending peaceful energy would indeed be sensed by the spirits of nature who are near. And should a fairy be distressed, it would definitely be calming. Trees have beings of nature who care for them, and so hugging a tree would be seen as very endearing. And would therefore attract its fae.

Faerie Tears

What do faeries do when they find a human alone and crying? I have had an experience once when I was at a creek and crying about something and suddenly felt my scalp tingle. And a very quiet whisper in my ear that things would be fine. That my friends love me, that they'd want me around. Faults and everything. The voice sounded like a chiming bell. The kind you hear with wind chimes blowing in a breeze. Was it a faerie whispering?

I have not found a faerie alone and crying but I'd wait to be sure it is not someone or something else making that sound, should I find one.

[Ophelia Fey says] - Alison -- Yes, your friends definitely DO want you around, faults and everything, for they are all "in the same boat," so to speak. And remember, the beings of nature are also your friends, and very much want you around too! Things DO tend to work out fine, if you get out of the way and let them!

But back to your question... Many beings of nature, should they find a mortal crying, would indeed go near and try to comfort that person. Especially those who are familiar with earthly ways, for they know how difficult life in the physical plane can sometimes be. And in attempting to comfort you, they just might whisper in your ear.

When people are focused on their emotions (rather than on their mental processes and are therefore being less rigid and analytical), they can more easily be attuned to the ways of nature beings. And it is then that fae may be more easily seen and heard.

It would be more improbable for you to come across a fae who is weeping, as he or she would tend to withdraw into their own energy or even into the dimensions of Faerie, and would then be more difficult for you to perceive.
