Final Fairy Sketch

Final Fairy Sketch - The fairy costume is the last step of these fairy sketches. And since this is an Earth, garden variety fairy with sprouting hair and floral wings, it goes without saying that the garment would follow the same look.

Since the emphasis is on the face for these fairy drawings, the details such as the garment have been kept simple. (Although, in fact, it is actually more elaborate than I've pictured here). As I've mentioned before, sometimes an artist has to modify a piece of art, to pick and choose just what to put in, and how complicated to make it.

So this costume is simple tendrils, vines (with a berry or two) and leaves.

Now that it's done, maybe we should give her a nickname - since the real fairy name would be probably be pretty unpronounceable! Keep posted for a new page on how you can help come up with a name. (And it will have a bigger version of this picture too). Then I just might have to turn the final fairy sketch into an actual full-color painting!
