How To See Fairies

Fairies, as you may know, are simply one name mortals call the beings of nature. And most mortals will say it is not easy to see them. But if you think that, then you have already taken a step in the wrong direction. It is true, some mortals naturally are able to See beyond their earthly dimension into others. This is a gift that is passed down through generations. Or they may have been touched by the presence of fae, and their Sight has been opened. It is ever so much easier for children to see fairies. They have not yet been programmed with the thinking and ways of your world. Otherwise, to see us, you must have confidence that you can, and believe. And most of all, practice. Mortals tend to become impatient and give up quickly. It takes patience when you first learn how to see fairies.

Mortals have many fairy tales and folklore about what they think fairies are like. Many of them are highly amusing (or scary). But not altogether correct. So when you wonder about how to see fairies, you may not know what to expect. Do you expect to see a tiny human looking thing with butterfly or dragonfly wings? I suspect you probably do. Yes, some of us choose to look like that, for fun, but that is not necessarily how we really are at all. And so, not knowing what you should see, you miss us. And then you wonder, do fairies exist. Or faeries, depending on how you like to spell us. I spell it either way. It does not matter.

About Your Five Senses
To understand how to see fairies, you must also understand that your five senses are programmed to work with your brain. And that can be very limited, unless you learn how to increase the power of your brain. Which is very possible. Your human eyes are programmed to see in certain ways. Your scientists also estimate that hundreds of thousands of bits of information per second are taken in by your eyes, but your brain only processes a fraction of them. That means almost all of what you see, what your eyes take in, does not really “register.” And if you are unfamiliar with something in your path of sight, it may be one of the bits that does not register at all. So you have to train your brain to be able to see differently. And that starts with wanting to.

Let yourself really “get into” the nature around you. Your state of mind will affect what you see. If you are agitated or angry, that is what you will tune into. If you are calm and loving, that is what you will be open to. So when practicing how to see fairies, try to still your mind and take care about what mood you are in and what thoughts you are having. Then invite the fairies to join you.

Charms and Chants?
You don’t have to say anything special, and you can say it aloud or in a whisper. There are no special chants or spells or charms that you need to use. Although some of you do find them interesting, and they may help put you in the right state of mind. But not necessary. If you play a small musical instrument such as a flute or guitar, even a drum, we do enjoy music. Play something even and harmonious. The music and rhythm you play can create a vibration that fairies relate to. They will enter the area of your music, and you may be able to more easily see them.

One important tip in how to see fairies -- Keep your mind open to what you might see.

It is typical to first sense the presence of fairies. To have a feeling that they are there. And then you may get a glimpse of something out of the corner of your eye. If so, stay very still and try not to blink. We can be gone from your vision in an instant, until your vision gets used to seeing us. Above all, do not be noisy. One day, if you are very persistent with how to see fairies, you may just suddenly see one. And it may stay for more than a second. Looking back at you. And perhaps it will smile. You will then know that you have made a fairy friend.

Fairies will be curious at first, and probably somewhat hesitant.
