King Arthur Legend

by Zab
(California)

Did your people ever meet King Arthur? Have you ever met him? And what about Merlin the magician? Did you give him his powers?

Ophelia Fey says -- You may be aware that your tales and stories of King Arthur are exactly that. He is a historical figure, to be sure, but lived around the 500's, not during the Middle Ages. He was a war lord at the time, and did have within his retinue and court certain druid priests. And one has become known as Merlin to you.

However, you may not have been nearly as impressed with his real powers if you'd known him then. He did develop his own innate abilities beyond that of most people. And so he did seem magical and impressive to others during that time. He did have the Sight, the gift of prophecy, and was able to heal. But he did not, for instance, turn people into things or animals.

Fae folk did know the war lord known to you as Arthur, as well as the druid you call Merlin. We did not give him his powers, as he already had them. But in those days people were not as cut off from the Unseen forces as they are now, and the Veil was thinner, to be sure. Those in our dimension, in Faerie, could more easily pass through, and humans were used to seeing the Unseen. It was easier for them to Believe, and so they did see. We were therefore able to help the druids, as well as other people, as to how to use their own powers. But it was already within them. As it still is today, if people would only understand that.

5 senses
by: imani

Do you think that you could give me tip on training my 5 sense so that I can have more way to practice seeing fairys. This website has gotten me so much more interested then I thought I ever would be, now it is like a goal of mine to be able to see a fairy and befriend one. I also have one more question once I was asking a fairy to come into my dream. I was taking deep breath and running my hand through my hair. Then I felt a chill or goosebumps. Do you think this could gave been a fairy? Sorry for asking two different questions. Please respond.

[Ophelia Fey says] - Hello Imani. Your "comment" is not about the topic of this question - King Arthur. So I will not answer it here, as it will confuse the topic. You may submit it as a regular question though, and then I will consider it. And ONE question at a time, please!

Powers
by: Kenia

And if we did believe, would we, not all of us of course, have some sort of magical power?

[Ophelia Fey says] -- It depends on what you mean by "powers" and "magical," Kenia. Some people think being psychic is magical and a special ability. Or the ability to heal, which many can. In reality, it is something all mortals could learn to do to some degree if they would take the time and effort. It is a natural state that has been lost. All of you already DO, therefore, have the possibility of some "magical powers," if you see it like that.

Just believing does not necessarily give powers of any sort. But it is a step in the right direction. At this point in human history, developing so-called powers does take effort. Sometimes a great deal. And most people do not want to make the effort. That is because they do not really, really, really want it that badly. But they do like to talk and think about it. It is, after all, easier to just go on as usual; to just read and wonder about things, Yes?
