Making Faerie Friends
Ophelia-
Is it possible for humans to speak to faeries? Have you ever been friends with humans before? I'd like to meet faeries, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
Ophelia says -- Most definitely you can speak to faeries. They will hear you even though you may not see them. You can speak with them in your mind or aloud. If you know of a place where you feel faeries may live, then they probably are there. Because you feel them. The first step. Then you may begin talking to them. Invite them to come near. Come back to this place frequently so they know you are sincere, and so they get used to you. If it is in your own garden or home, that is ideal. Or even somewhere in nature near by.
Faeries, once they come to know and trust you (and you must prove trustworthy for the good faeries) will be true friends. They may follow you wherever you go, even if you move, especially if you invite them. They can become quite attached to you, because you have made them your confidante and they will forever wonder about you and perhaps even worry. Good faeries have a strong sense of responsibility. They can even help you with your tasks so your work seems easier, and inspire you with ideas that you may not have thought of, for a new solution or something you are creating.
Don't be disappointed if it takes awhile to see them. Often you'll get a glance out of the corner of your eye. You may have already met a fairy and did not know it.
I have indeed been friends with mortals. I am many hundreds of years old, your time. So I have had many friends over the centuries. Including princesses and farm folk. They may not have always seen me, but most sensed that I was there, and talked to me. And when it was their time to Pass, I was there to prepare and help them along. (We do that too). And when their passing was complete and they saw with different eyes, then they could see me most certainly!
What most people do not realize is that good faeries would love to make friends with you, but you must encourage them and prove to be sincere by culturing integrity and harmony in feelings.
