Star Dust

by sammy
(Q.L.D)

How do you use star dust? If you want to be a fairy how do you become one. Can you tell me how you make a real working fairy wand.

Ophelia Fey says -- Sammy, you have several questions here, so I'll answer them one at a time.

Star Dust is used for many purposes. We can use it with our wands to assist in quickly creating something. Or certain kinds are used in food, much like you use sugar sprinkles. Other kinds are used to enhance our makeup or looks. Like a fashion accessory. And then there is a type that is used in the answering of wishes. It does take training, needless to say, to learn how to use some of these. So most fairies do not use them all.

On becoming a fairy -- as I have mentioned in other pages, this is not possible. A fairy is a fairy; a human is a human. Just like a bird cannot become a fish. There are deeper secrets regarding this, but I am not allowed to discuss them on a web site.

As for a real fairy wand that works -- that is another item that takes mastery. Even if you were able to learn to create one, that does not mean you could make it work. The wand does depend on the person (I should say, fairy) using it. I would not be allowed to discuss with mortals the making of a real fairy wand. Mortals, after all, have not yet learned to use the other powers on earth that they already have. Nor have they learned to sufficiently control themselves.

It would be far too risky for us to entrust a fairy wand or fairy magic in the hands of most mortals at this time. I'm sure you probably understand this. It's not that we don't like you -- that would not be the issue at all. And also, what if it fell into the wrong hands?

It is highly doubtful that you would be able to make such a wand yourself, because of the difficulty and the level of skill it takes. And so right now it is best left up to the fairies.
