Your Tooth Fairy Certificate

When a child loses a tooth, if you ask us, we will always appear and will always leave a fairy gift – a little blessing for the child and a little magic for the new tooth coming in. But a child also does enjoy a little something they can touch and see, being human and all.

Fairies did not originally see the need to leave such certificates and notes, but we are charmed with the mortal tradition of doing so, and like to participate. You can help us by writing the name of your child on the certificate, and the date he or she lost a tooth.

Tooth fairies do not read and write the human languages. Your human names are quite foreign to us, and we would find it exceedingly difficult to fill in the names and dates on a certificate for you. Ophelia Fey did help us design a general certificate -- with a real tooth fairy name signature (at least a close version of what our name would be in the human language). And it has one of my tooth fairy pictures on it.

And you may, if you’d like, also give him or her a little gift such as money besides our certificate. We do not mind that a child may desire more than just our magical wish and blessing. Such unseen things are sometimes difficult for a child to understand. But please do let them know that it was given. And if they wonder, do fairies exist, they will know they received a blessing from one.
