Free Vintage Fairy Art
Wonderful vintage fairy art is free for you here -- having managed to find this web page within your Web. The fairy art of old was often inspired by fae folk themselves, who shadowed their favorite artists, hiding behind brushes, paint tubes, and lamps. Even perhaps perched upon a shoulder.
And now this vintage art is in the public domain, all copyright free. Some available thanks to the Gutenberg Project (quite remarkable).
Of course, to fairies, the word vintage is relative. Since almost all are quite old, after all. Vintage to mortals may mean back 50 to 100 years. Vintage to fae folk would be ancient to humankind – back even 500 to 1000 years. Or more. And so whether one regards the vintage art work on this page as truly "old," they certainly are all very well done.
The smaller images can be clicked on, to get a larger image in a PDF format in order for you to Save to your computer. The larger ones at the bottom would need to be saved right from that image itself. Enjoy!
