Ophelia Fey says - Hello, Alice. I believe I did answer this somewhere along the way. But no problem to answer it again. I am a fairy of the earth element, and have lived previously (a very long time ago) in forest and field within Faerie. There is an "Ask A Fairy" question specifically about me, and I gave some details there, so perhaps you can read it to learn more.

You will find that most nature spirits that are around mortals are of the earth element. And perhaps some of water. Fae of the fire element are the least probable to deliberately try to associate with people. And that is partially for your benefit and protection. Beings of the air are - well not exactly what you would call "air-heads," in the sense that they are scatter-brained - but they do tend to scatter. If you know what I mean. They move about hither and yon all the time. (I suppose you don't say "hither and yon" much anymore - sorry.)

How do you use technological devices in using this website ?
I'm new here. And I swear to myself that I will always visit this site from now on. I'm just wondering how a fairy like you could use a technological device. Please answer my question my dear Ophelia Fay. Thank you and more power to you.

[Ophelia Fey says] -- Why not? Technology is what is used for a web site, is it not? Technology is just another form of energy. And I am, after all, not tiny. We use what must be used for whatever it is that we are using it for and trying to accomplish on the earthly plane. It is not difficult, after all. And I have been alongside a mortal for many a year, after all. Did you read the "About Us" page?

Just needed to talk

I wrote a letter to the fairies to come and help me. Show me which way I should go because there are lots of changes in my life. The fairies have always been with me I know. Nobody believed me when I was a child. Whenever I needed help they came. While I was sitting today asking them for help here you are all in our modern life. I am sixty now but I still believe you never left me.
I wonder if I am a fairy what kind am I.
My friends say I am a lovely, kind, warm-hearted person and always ready to help everybody. Some times I make mistakes and say wrong things, but I don't mean them. You are a very special fairy and thank you for fairies secrets. I have read most of the things, but I need to sleep. I'll visit you again tomorrow. Sending lots of Love. Linda.

[Ophelia Feys says] - Thank you for your interesting note, Linda. You are correct that nature spirits never leave you, especially those who are your guides. They are with you for life.

It does not matter if people do or do not believe you. Some people are not meant to; it is not their path and therefore not their interest. What they are here to do is very "real world" (although sometimes the world seems a bit unreal to me). And anything that they cannot perceive with their five outer senses, their human intellect (which in the large scope of the Universe is rather limited), or that has not already been "proven" by current science (which is continually finding itself to be wrong and having to correct itself), they will never believe in. Which is fine. It is their way. It is a way of being. But it is not the only way. Each person will make his or her own way and meaning of Life, depending on what they must do here. If everyone could understand that about each other, the world would be ever so much easier to live in.
